Episode Fifteen (Transition Project)

This week we feature Olivia, Emily, Bethan, Rhys and Patrick. They interview Mrs Baxter, who is an ICT teacher at Driffield school and also head of Johnson House. They then interview two Year 8 students to find out what they think of life at Driffield School.

Results of Podcast Competition

Some of you will recall that we had a podcasting competition right back in episode eight. Entrants had to guess the animal noises. The right answers are as below:
1 Goat
2 Pigs
3 Cockateil
4 Turkeys
5 Sheep
6 Donkeys
7 Horse
Although nobody got all of the answers correct, the two students with the most correct answers are Ryan Bashford (Y9) and Anya Martin (Y7). They both win free tickets to Cruckley Farm which have kindly been donated to the school by Mr Johnston, the owner of Cruckley Animal Farm. These students will be presented with their tickets in the last house assemblies of the term.

Episode Fourteen (Transition Project)

We were doing a podcast to welcome all the year six students coming to Driffield School in September. In our podcast we interviewed Mr Green the head teacher of Driffield School and two year eight students. We asked them lots of questions and got some very good feedback. We found out interesting things out about Mr Green especially about his old job. The year eight students gave us some brilliant answers too. We are very pleased with our results! Jordan Cardy is the leader of the group from Driffield senior school, Nicola Bennett is from Sledmere School, Daniel Stones is from Sledmere school aswell and last but not least Liam Young is from Driffield Junior School.
