Episode Twenty Eight
November 15th, 2009 by wsbaxter
This week is our anti-bullying week special podcast. National anti-bullying week takes place from 16th to 20th November and the national theme this year is cyber bullying. We are therefore hosting a number of activities in the school to raise awareness and educate students as to how to avoid either being a victim or perpetrator of cyber bullying. These include a series of assemblies, an open session of the ‘chat and chill’ room and a range of activities to be carried out during tutor time. Please enjoy this podcast and share the information with anyone that you feel might benefit.
Thanks to Stephen Bowling for putting this episode together.

Episode Twenty Four
May 9th, 2009 by wsbaxter
Welcome to our latest episode, hosted by Benjy and Craig. They have begged me not to edit this episode and so, in the interest of student voice, I’ve left it untouched. However, I can’t say I like hearing my name so often and taken in vain! Despite this, there is a great interview with Mr Grinstead who is a past pupil of the school as well as currently working as a teaching assistant and school governor. We also hear two of the podcasts put together by Y8 students as part of their cross-curricular project on Malawi. Many thanks to Peatry, our Malawian guest for volunteering to be interviewed. I do hope that he listens to this in Malawi (if you do Peatry, please leave us a comment).
